The Te Awamutu Branch of the New Zealand Society of Genealogists are here at the centre from 10am-1pm, running a drop-in session for you and your whānau!
Learn about how to start researching your family history, fill in your genealogy whakapapa trees and find out what’s available to you here at the centre.
To get you started, try answering these questions: – What is your father’s name, his grandparents, and maybe great grandparents? – What is your mother’s name, her grandparents, and maybe great grandparents? – Any known ancestral places or countries where your family name comes from?
We look forward to seeing you there! If you have any questions please phone: 07 872 0085 or email museum@waipadc.govt.nz
Come and enjoy a fun and friendly environment at the centre!
