This is a special display about this significant tupuna of Rangiaowhia, Rahapa Te Hauata. We share an amazing account of how she, and her family, survived the British invasion of the Waikato in the 1864 attack on Rangiaowhia, 5 mins East of Te Awamutu located in the District of Waipā.
