DezignaBug!
Get ready this school holidays for some creative DezignaBug activities! We’ve created some awesome activities that test your creative styles. To celebrate our new Curioseum Bug activities we’re getting buggy with it!
Register: Not necessary
Dates: 4th – 16th October 2021
Time: Pick up your packs during Museum opening hours: Mon-Fri 10am-4pm, Sat 10am-2pm
Cost: FREE for locals
Type: Virtual Activities for both weeks of the holidays!
Ages: All ages with adult supervision
For both weeks of the holidays 4th – 16th October we have created Virtual Activities so you can pick up a DezignaBug pack, use the Youtube link to see the ‘how to’ videos. These are FREE packs for all our locals. Please remember to bring your button drawings in so we can make it into a button. Also, bring your 3D DezignaBug in to take a photo of it in our Diorama!
Make a DezignaBug Badge!
Printed DezignaBugs will be available for you to colour in. A Museum host will make your chosen one and make it into a badge (limited to 1 badge per child).
Create a DezignaBug!
From or bug-part templates, use the lights to draw and colour in your DezignaBug!
Make a 3D DezignaBug!
From the materials available build your DezignaBug 3D Sculpture. Then, post your DezignaBug in the Amazing Bug World Diorama!
DezignaBug Hunt!
Use your detective eyes to find backyard critters around the Museum, go into the draw for a cool prize pace, 2 to be won!
