Description

In celebration of the successful equine sector in Cambridge and the beautification of the Cambridge township, the mosaics were commissioned to be installed along the main Victoria Street.

The thoroughbred studs around Cambridge have produced many champion horses, which are celebrated here. One of the best-known is the legendary stud horse Sir Tristram, who sired 45 prizewinners, including Melbourne Cup winner Empire Rose.
