Waipā Monuments
Waipa has many memorials located around the district that recall past events or people, serving as tangible reminders of our expression of sorrow and pride. They help to preserve our culture and heritage for future generations. Monuments also have the power to inspire us, to remind us of our shared humanity and the values that bind us together as a society.
Many of our memorials are entered in the Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga list and/or the Waipa District plan.
