Henriata Nicholas – Exhibitions Coordinator

Henriata is of Ngāti Kahu, Ngāti Unu, Ngāti Whakaue, Ngāti Turumakina decent. Her expertise is concept development, planning, project management, curation and marketing of exhibitions, public programmes and Museum projects.

Collections Manager – Sarah Dawe

The Collections Manager oversees the everyday management and preventative conservation of the Museum’s 18,000+ objects, taonga Māori and archives. Part of this includes responding to research requests, processing object donations, digitising artefacts for Collections Online, environmental monitoring of the collection, and managing loans.

Kerrin Carr – Education Facilitator

Our Education Facilitator oversees our Ministry of Education ELC (Enriched Local Curriculum) contract, including the development and delivery of the Museums Education Programme. Our programmes not only give students the opportunity to have ‘hands on experience’ with taonga and objects, but also onsite delivery at authentic sites around the Waipā. We are always looking for new ways to engage and connect students with our local and national history.

The Museum Administrator keeps all the Museum’s background system running smoothly, as well as looking after front of house series ensuring exceptional front line customer service and overseeing the two Museum Hosts.
