Have you heard of Re Creators? They are a Hamilton based hub for child and adult friendly activities. They presenting a FREE Adult Crafting workshop in July at our new Te Awamutu Museum – Education & Research Centre!
Welcome Carla the host from Re Creators in who will show you how to use t-shirt string in the art making of macrame.
Supported by Creative Communities, this workshop you will learn how to macrame and how to use macrame knots to make a beautiful creation. Macrame is a popular way to create beautiful items for your home, while enjoying the mindfulness of a creative activity. You will learn basic macrame knots and techniques as you craft your own creation in a supportive and relaxed learning environment. Even better, we will be using upcycled materials in this project.
