Matariki 2023 with Kākāpō

Tui & Tama’s friend Kākāpō is launching our new public programme schedule involving a Tui & Tama Passport for existing and new members to collect all the activity stickers each month until December 2023! If you collect all 6 mascot stickers in the passport, you go in to the prize draw in December!

Come on in and make a Matariki Lantern you can pop a LED candle into!
Make a Popsicle whetu!
Colour in a Matariki star and cast it into the star net!
Write your name on a star and add it to the interactive star constellation!

Loads of FREE fun for all the whānau!

Tama’s Dinosaur Hunt

FREE fun here at the Museum with Tama’s Dinosaur Hunt!

You get an activity book to do either in the Museum or take it home.

Find all the hidden dinosaurs in the Curioseum, do the word search and colour in your dinosaurs. Lots of fun things to do, see and learn at the Museum.

Tui & Tama’s Autumn Leaf Hunt

A fun activity open to members and non-members of the Tui & Tama Kids Club!

Come in and find the Autumn leaves scattered around the Museum, learn why leaves change colour, choose a leaf to add to our Autumn tree, and go into the draw for one of two Prize Packs! Prizes drawn 31st May 2022

Time: Mon-Fri 10am-4pm, Sat 10am-2pm

Cost: FREE

Open to: Everyone

Open: All ages

All children must have adult supervision. Please be aware there may be limits on capacity so please check with reception on the day.

Tui & Tama’s Great Easter Egg Hunt & Crafts!

Everyone is welcome to do Tui & Tama’s Great Easter Egg Hunt! There is also crafts and for our Tui & Tama Club Members, you receive a special Easter badge. New members can join anytime, just come in and pick up a form or download from our website and bring it in. See you for some hopping great fun!
